Greg Zegarowski

Greg Zegarowski, CPA, is the Director of Business Transformation Services at ABW Medical. Greg brings a wealth of experience in finance and accounting. He has held leadership roles in companies ranging from startups to multinational corporations. Greg has extensive expertise in technical accounting, building internal controls, ROI analysis, audit-readiness, risk analysis, data governance, and business process improvement initiatives.

After starting his career with Deloitte, Greg served as the Controller/CFO of a medical device startup, and later as the Controller for a publicly traded alternative energy company. Greg enjoys working with the management of organizations to improve their business processes. He has provided controller-level consulting services to companies such as Standard Cognition (AI platform), Pandora (music streaming), and Equinix (global data centers). Greg has also developed business banker training for Wells Fargo Bank and provided his SEC reporting expertise to companies such as McKesson (healthcare) and Invitae (biotech).

Greg holds an MBA from University of Detroit, a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University, Honors College, and a Certificate in Environmental and Social Risk Analysis for Financial Institutions from the United Nations Environment Program (Geneva). He has authored courses for the American Institute of CPAs and his peer-reviewed article on corporate sustainability appeared in the International Journal of Disclosure and Governance. Greg thoroughly enjoys enabling those who are early in their careers, as well as teaching future business leaders as an adjunct university instructor.
