John Bozin

John Bozin leads ABW Medical with more than 25 years of experience transforming healthcare, technology, and services organizations into disciplined growth engines. A former CEO, COO, and CFO across large health systems and growth stage companies, he turns strategy into revenue strength, healthier margins, compliant operations, and technology enabled scale.
John’s commitment to safety-net and community care runs deep. At NYC Health + Hospitals, the largest public health system in the U.S., he served as CFO then COO for the Community Health division, expanding payer partnerships, improving cash performance, rolling out Epic across ambulatory sites, streamlining multisite business lines, and mentoring emerging leaders.
He was previously CEO (and earlier CFO) of the Colorado Foundation for Medical Care, a Health and Human Services Quality Improvement Organization, where he secured major public sector awards, advanced population health work, and led Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services core measures and public reporting programs including Hospital Compare, Home Health Compare, the Beneficiary and Family Centered Care program, and related initiatives across multiple states.
John later served as CFO and Chief Administrative Officer at Enquire, helping the healthcare CRM and analytics platform scale, strengthen its balance sheet, and unify financial, data, and operating systems. Earlier senior leadership roles in Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 firms saw him lead large acquisitions, enterprise technology migrations, and global risk and control integration programs—discipline that informs ABW Medical’s approach to data, governance, and connected technology for providers.
John holds a PhD, graduate degrees including an MBA from Columbia University, and additional credentials in process improvement, project leadership, and change management. His board and governance work spans hospitals, foundations, employer coalitions, and national advocacy groups where he has helped shape strategy, quality, and access. He channels that breadth into ABW Medical’s mission: delivering measurable financial lift and freeing clinicians to focus on care.
