Mathew Frazer

Founder

Mathew is the founder of ABW Medical, and currently serves as Chairman of the Company. Mathew has a unique background with extensive experience in both medical practice management and corporate business. He has managed a multi-million dollar medical practice, where he deployed the athenaNet software suite, helped grow the practice more than 3 times in revenue and consulted with practices across the country. His corporate business career includes stints as the CEO of Silicon Valley start-up (sold to Avaya), Vice President at Fortune 200, Alcatel-Lucent, and positions at Netscape Communications and Goldman Sachs.

Mathew holds an MBA degree from Stanford Business School and is a summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate (BA and BS degrees) from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business and College of Arts and Sciences.

John Bozin

CEO

John Bozin, CEO of ABW Medical, brings over 25 years of dynamic leadership experience in the healthcare industry. Having held key executive positions as a CEO, COO, and CFO, he leverages a strategic vision, operational expertise, and deep financial acumen to drive organizational excellence and foster innovation.

John holds a PhD from Colorado Technical University and an MBA from Columbia University, complemented by additional academic achievements that enhance his strategic decision-making. His diverse experience includes working with Fortune 100 and 500 companies, as well as leading roles within the largest public healthcare system, New York City Health + Hospitals and other major institutions. Additionally, he has served under Health and Human Services’ Quality Improvement Organizations (QIOs), where he played a key role in advancing quality and patient safety initiatives.

John has also contributed to the healthcare industry as a member of more than a dozen healthcare boards and associations across the country, leveraging his expertise to influence policy, strategy, and innovation. He is dedicated to boosting performance and achieving exceptional outcomes, having led large hospital systems and driven growth in healthcare startups with a focus on quality, efficiency, and patient-centric care.

As a strategic leader, John excels in navigating regulatory landscapes, optimizing finances, and enhancing operations. He is passionate about cost-saving measures, strategic partnerships, and technology-driven innovations to drive sustainable change.

With deep insights into healthcare economics and market dynamics, John identifies growth opportunities and empowers teams through collaborative leadership. He remains committed to transforming healthcare delivery, partnering with industry leaders to drive innovation, improve patient outcomes, and sustain growth.

Nathan DuMond

Vice President of Marketing and Business Development

Nathan is the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at ABW, bringing with him a wealth of experience since joining the company in 2024. With a career spanning numerous years, Nathan has consistently led sales organizations across diverse industries, with a particular focus on healthcare for over two decades. He began his journey with prominent companies such as Becton Dickinson and Hollister, where he held the key position of U.S Director of Sales. Over the last eight years, Nathan honed his expertise in Healthcare IT, serving as the Executive Director of Sales for Independent Medical Groups at athenahealth. Under his leadership, his teams consistently surpassed growth targets, playing a pivotal role in athenahealth’s $17 billion acquisition in 2022. Nathan’s proficiency extends to sales processes, organizational design, and coaching for sales skill development. He holds a degree in Business from Indiana University and resides in Alpharetta, Georgia, with his wife and three children.

Vijay Dass

Vice President of Delivery

Vijay Dass is the Vice President of Delivery at ABW Medical. 19+ years of expertise in the RCM industry. Vijay Dass works closely with ABW prospect to assess their needs and co-create a solution to help clients maximize collections with leveraging ABW services. He also manages the operations for ABW across the multiple delivery centers. Prior to his current ABW role, Vijay Dass has analyzed over 1,000 athenahealth tablespaces providing feedback on performance and identifying improvement opportunities over tenure at ABW. Prior to joining ABW, Vijay Dass worked with multiple RCM companies leading Operations/Transitions/Client Engagement roles. Vijay Dass holds a MBA degree Logistics and supply chain management from National Institute of Business Management (NIBM).

Casey Lilley

Director, Marketing and Business Development

Casey is a Director of Marketing and Business Development, having joined ABW in 2023. He joins the company after nearly 10 years working in healthcare, supporting a variety of provider organizations. Casey began his career at The Advisory Board Company, where he served on engagements with large health systems to improve quality and utilization to prepare for various value based care programs. He then joined Flatiron Health, beginning his time there leading implementations of an oncology focused EMR, practice management and clinical trials software, before transitioning to support their RCM services. As a member of Flatiron’s RCM team, Casey partnered with leading oncology and urology practices and MSOs to redesign their billing workflows and staffing models to improve both collections and operational efficiency. Casey holds a degree in Politics and Italian Studies from The Catholic University of America and lives in Brooklyn, New York.

Ganesh Vasu

Assistant Manager of Operations, Marketing and Business Development

Ganesh has been an integral part of ABW since 2017, actively engaging with ABW prospects from their initial stages through to onboarding. His expertise extends to analyzing over 800 athenahealth tablespaces, offering valuable insights into their performance and identifying resource requirements and areas for improvement. Prior to joining ABW, Ganesh held various positions in multiple RCM companies, including Senior Subject Matter Expert in Operations & Quality, Management Executive in Delivery Center, and Business Analyst in Operations. He holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from Pondicherry University and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC).

Alexis Robinson

Client Success

Alexis is a Client Success Manager at ABW Medical. Prior to ABW, Alexis worked as a billing manager for an RCM management company focused on ambulatory surgery. She has over 15 years in the industry working as a program manager managing the coding and billing services for an enterprise athena customer and working in various leadership roles at athena, including client success management. She has extensive athena knowledge and experience working in EPIC, SIS and HST.

Andrew Hajde

Chief Operating Officer

Andrew is the Chief Operating Officer at ABW and an accomplished healthcare executive with over 25 years of leadership experience in healthcare management, specializing in revenue cycle management (RCM) and strategic billing initiatives. Previously the Director of Content & Consulting at MGMA, Andrew has held senior leadership roles at a Fortune 100 healthcare company, overseeing large networks of medical practices across diverse specialties, including internal medicine, OB/GYN, cardiology, and surgical services. His extensive billing expertise includes managing departments across various EHR platforms, directly handling revenue cycle functions, and leading the successful opening or acquisition of 25 practices across multiple states.

Known for his strategic insight and thought leadership, Andrew has driven innovative content development, led consulting services, and advanced AI implementations within the healthcare sector. A frequent speaker and published author, he has presented at numerous industry conferences and is widely recognized for his contributions to medical practice operations and healthcare strategy.

Pradeep Kumar

Chief Strategy & Development Officer

Pradeep is Chief Strategy & Development Officer at ABW Medical. Pradeep has over 18 years of revenue cycle management and delivery management experience. Pradeep comes with a strong expertise and proven track record in devising/restructuring and executing client process, project management, process design and implementation. Pradeep’s previous positions include Sr. Manager – Client Partners (Delivery Center) and Project Manager (with a Texas based offshore company). He holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Madras.

Scott Rollin

Senior Director of Finance & Analytics

Scott Rollin, Senior Director of Finance & Analytics at ABW Medical, leads the company’s strategic finance initiatives and champions data-driven decision-making processes. Drawing on his expertise in corporate finance, data analytics, and operational efficiency, Scott offers key insights to ABW Medical’s leadership team. Scott most recently worked as a corporate finance consultant at a top 25 nationwide firm, where he routinely delivered key projects and insights for his clients spanning over 14 industries.
Scott is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where he earned dual undergraduate degrees in Economics and Cognitive Science. Committed to continuous growth, he pursued further education alongside his professional endeavors, earning a certificate in data science from the University of Chicago.

John Cowart

Director, Marketing and Business Development

John is a Director of Marketing and Business Development at ABW Medical. With a strong background in sales and operations, he has a proven track record of driving revenue growth and enhancing client satisfaction across the healthcare sector. Previously, John served as the National Sales Director at Khora Health Solutions and Sales Operations Director at TangoRx, where he collaborated to deliver innovative pharmacy solutions and optimize contract negotiations.

Before that, John spent nearly eight years at athenahealth, where he held the roles of Solution Consultant Manager and also served as an Onboarding Project Manager. In these positions, he developed effective selling strategies and managed client onboarding processes, significantly enhancing professional development and ensuring a smooth transition for new clients.

John holds a B.A. in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from The University of Georgia and is certified as a 340B ACE by Apexus.

Dave Ebel

Director, Client Services

Dave is the Director of Client Services with over 11 years of healthcare consulting experience. He specializes in revenue cycle management strategy, operational improvement, technical optimization, and financial reporting initiatives for hospitals, health systems, and medical groups. Throughout his career he has worked at prominent RCM consulting firms such as Huron Consulting Group, Guidehouse Consulting, and Flatiron Health, where he’s delivered best-in-class performance improvement solutions, helping clients achieve financial and operational success. Dave is a seasoned project manager with considerable experience reducing project timelines and navigating the ever-changing healthcare economy. He finds passion when partnering with clients to help them successfully manage the challenges that span revenue cycle operations, technology, and resources.

Dave holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.

Benjamin Rounds

Manager, Client Success

Ben is a Client Success Manager at ABW Medical. Prior to joining ABW, Ben worked at a large athenahealth enterprise client for three years as a Systems Administrator, where he trained RCM staff on how to use the athenahealth Platform (specializing in Collector and Payer Enrollment) as well as developing workflows for optimization of athenahealth that best suited the practice needs. He comes with 16 years of RCM experience, spanning a wide variety of specialties, and a Bachelor degree in Health Administration.

Karen Petry

Client Success

Karen is a Client Success Manager at ABW Medical.  Prior to ABW, Karen managed the billing and collections departments and ran the RCM process at two enterprise athenahealth clients in Boston, MA and in New Hampshire.  Karen was a part of one of the initial clients of ABW Medical in 2012.  Earlier in her career, Karen was Vice President at Textron Financial Services and ran the Northeast CBO at Concentra Health Services where she won the CBO of the Year award among 14 CBOs across the US.

Christa Broyles

Client Success

Christa is a Client Success Manager at ABW Medical. Prior to ABW, Christa was an independent RCM and EMR consultant for a variety of organizations and software companies nationwide. Christa has over 13 years of experience in the RCM industry with a focus on FQHC, Behavioral/Mental Health, Hospitals, and SNFs/LTCs organizations in various leadership roles. She has helped to develop many systems and workflows within the medical software industries, as well as in the FQHC and LTC sectors. Christa has extensive knowledge in a variety of EMR systems such as athenahealth, Kareo, AdvancedMD, Point Click Care, Epic, and American Health Tech (AHT) to name a few. She has held the position as a former CFO of an FQHC, and actively participates in local youth programs and charities. Christa holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and proudly served as an officer in the U.S. Navy for six years.
